A Copper Winter

Ninoum 26 Jun 2023

I had time to squeeze this one in. Super easy to do.

The only thing I don’t particularly like is my background… the long brown stripes. They are too “perfect” and sharp. As I was making them, it kinda crossed my mind. I should have put more thoughts into my feelings (don’t know if thoughts and feelings go together but I think you know what I mean!).

Here's the story. I've never seen this painting before. So I hit the 'back to original' to see the model. I was looking at Bob's version for 3 full minutes thinking my internet is really slow before I noticed his signature. You have become Bob! I can't find a mistake or anything different from his. Awesome.

Beautiful, great work

Bonjour Nancy, one painting more beautiful than the other. Super birches 👍🏼🇩🇪

Thank you very much my friend! You made me laugh out loud (in a very good way)! That was really nice!

I appreciate Cold! 😊

Thank you my friend! 🇩🇪☀️ Birches are so awesome to make! I always get excited to put some on canvas!

great job!

Such a beautiful painting! You are so accomplished as an artist!

Nice N!

Loving it Nancy.
I can agree with you on the background being a bit too sharp. Could have been more subtle, less contrast.
But other than that, I tip my hat. <3

Nice work!

Thank you Jessie, Sandy, B and Tom! Always appreciated! 🥰

Thank you Titia! Isn't it?!! As I mentioned in my comment, as I was doing it, I felt it was looking almost like wooden boards. I tried to go back and add few more darker vertical strikes in the light ones but I was messing more than improving the compo. Going over the dark ones wasn't much of an option either. So lesson learned... when Bob does those kinda BG, I will pay more attention to the outcome. 😉
