I wanted to do this one for a little while. Tho, I thought it was pretty bare… borderline boring. So, I spiced it up a tad.
I didn't dig the purple-ish mountain, so I made distant foliage hills. I noticed that Bob didn’t do the shadow of the horizontal panels of the wooden fence. I added them on. I put partial tree shadows. I didn’t want to take away from my fence. I also added a mailbox. It points in the wrong direction on purpose. I wanted to show the civic number of the little house. The 9 represent the series and the 8 the episode of this painting. It’s the time of the year for the little wild pink flowers to grow around.
It’s not perfect but I like it. 😀

Thank you so much Abha! I spend a good amount of time on my fence shadow. With the little house, I thought it was one of the main focal points of the compo. One thing I did is that I went on the web to look at mailbox shadows to see how I would look like.
