Hint of Springtime

Jeffth 16 Oct 2023

This comes from the book version (book donated to me by the very generous Nancy 'Ninoum'), which I find superior to the tv episode. This is my first time attempting a painting from a JOP book, although I did reference the video version a couple times.

My version came out a little cramped, and I'm still struggling to figure out mountains, but I had more fun with this one than I've had in a while. Thank you Nancy for the awesome opportunity, next on deck is the KH tutorial you directed me to!

I am in love with this painting! It is just perfect.

YAY!!! πŸŽ‰ So happy you were able to use the book! I always paint from it. I do have the video tutorial if I want to see how Bob did something. The pictures of the paintings are far more superior and detailed than the videos. You did a fabulous job my friend! 🀩 I have to add that you are a very talented artist!

Good job on this one. I especially like the trees in the left foreground!

Lovely work.

Thank you Brian, hypercycloid, Dirk, Tomi, Nancy, Tom, and Daddio2012 :D

Brian, this composition definitely stood out to me when flipping through the book. It felt like there was a lot going on, I love all the variety.
Tom, I'm so glad you like the left foreground trees, as those were one of the elements I was unsure about.

oooo.. nice! excellent depth. beautiful trees and your rocks are fantastic.

Thank you, Bob. And welcome to TIB!
