Lazy River

As long as we learn something it's all good right? I learned to be very careful when correcting things to stay within the same color range.

Hey Tomi this is really good! Your under brush looks realistic and your trees have really gotten good!

Yeah, except for the ridiculously bright green in a fallish scene, it's not too bad.

Maybe those trees don’t lose their leaves until late Tomi. Everything looks great! I really like the grasses and water!

Lovely painting Tomi, cheers

Very nice.

I love how soft it looks. I cant pull that off to save my life. Well done!

Lovely painting!
So soft and I love the texture on the grass and distant trees.

Which brush did you use for the foreground trees?
I have yet to learn that lacy effect with the 1-inch. After two years I still haven't passed that bravery test and I tend to use the oval brush for foliage. LOL!

You know Brian, you may be right. Thank you.

Thank you Dave, Tom and Cosmo.

@Titia - I used the one inch brush. But, I don't usually have such success with it either. This painting was dry when I went back and covered a horrible reddish brown color. I put down a lot of dark color to cover, then really loaded the 1 inch and just touched the wet base.
