In the Joy of Painting books, this appears to be the first use of Phthalo Blue, which I thought was interesting since, of all colors (except for maybe Liquid White), Phthalo Blue is so deeply associated with the Joy of Painting. There's even a link to The Joy of Painting on the Copper Phthalocyanine wikipedia article!
