This was my third painting using the book rather than the television program. It was a little challenging to manage the (somewhat complex) canvas preparation based on what's written. I am glad I had seen this episode ahead of time. It took me way too long to do this one and I think I got a little too precious with it overall. That's fine, it looks cool to me and I had fun doing it!

Thank you, I appreciate it! This one almost went off the rails; I ended up wiping back a bunch of it early on. I'm glad I pushed ahead on it though because I really enjoyed working on the puddles!
The puddles and tree trunks are just great. I love your eerie style.
