More then three years ago I did my first attempt to reproduce this simple beauty of Bob, after seeing Nancy's version some days ago I wanted to do a retry, today I tried it again on the same medium: canvasboard 24 x 30 cm and kept it even more simple by skipping the peninsula (actually: I did not like mine and covered it with snow) and some sticks and twigs (just forgotten). I like the contrast between the far away trees and bushes and the sharp closer group of birch trees.
