I did this painting with my 8 year old niece who loves drawing and painting. She did the clouds, foliage, and the right river bank. It was a good experience for her to learn how to mix colors/underpaint things. I gave her a little 11”x14” canvas and frame for Christmas and an oil painting session. She loves art and definitely has “the gift” when it comes to drawing very well and having the creative drive.
Also, thanks for the site as she was able to find a painting that she liked and wanted to paint.
I think this is my favorite mountain I’ve done thus far. I did the underpainting of it with the knife/filbert brush and added the rest with a 1/4” flat and #1 round.
