Lonely Retreat - s8e12

I changed up the foreground as I felt Bob's was a little plain (due to time constraints I'd bet). I added a few evergreens (center and right side). I made good use of my artistic license by leaning the rightside evergreens to allow the foliage behind to show :) I also added a couple of mighty snow drifts. I painted this over a few days, grabbing easel time here and there, allowing parts o painting to tack up a bit. After taking the photo, I noticed I did not put a chimney on the house. I just may have to have a chimney session where I go back and add chimneys on a few paintings. As a matter of fact, after typing that out, I just made up my mind. Chimney update session is in my near future :)

My photos have come out 10X better since I purchased a 32" photo booth. 18" x 24" canvas. As always, your comments (especially suggestions) are desired and welcome.

The snowy slope and the cabin are very nice!

Good Morning, Tony. I'll tell you the time spent was worth it. Great house, clear technique, good shadows. All in all, top work πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Love the snow drifts. The cabin is so realistic. Great job.

Fantastic painting Tony! Excellent cabin especially!

I am with Jin! πŸ˜ƒ I also love the subtitle colors in your snow to create your lay of the land (snow slopes). Great work my friend!

Well done overall!
