The Footbridge (with alternate background) - s24e12
This is my 2nd attempt at this painting. I created my first version on 3/12/22 and it was my 14th painting (see attached photo). I have also included a picture of Bob's version from his season 24 book.
The one thing I did not care for in Bob's version was the background. I did not like the very tall background trees and expansive sky. I put my artistic license to use by making a couple of changes.
I think the people who built the bridge had a bit of an Art Deco flair to them ;) Actually the bridge has a happy accident. Is each support made of of 2 pylons connected together for each support, or are we seeing 4 pylons holding up the bridge, with 2 on each side. Also, are we seeing the railings on both sides of the bridge, or just one side? Hmmm. This is for you to decide :)
