I started painting for the 1st time march '24 following bob ross episodes etc, i'm still very far from where I want to be, but I'm getting better
Still have a lot of difficulties layering the background bushes they feel all in the same plane (and my tree is a mutant xD) but the next one will be better i'm sure
I had a lot of fun doing this one this week so thought this would be the 1st one i'd share

Don't worry about it. I've been at it 5 years and still not where I'd like to be. Don't be put off uploading your disasters, as we learn from them and there are plenty of people here to help you, we're all friends here. Bob's grandeur of summer is a good tutorial on defining plains. Watch a few videos, you'll get the hang of it. This painting is not as bad as you think, I can see some clearly defined layering. You can do it😉
Maybe one day I'll upload one of my disasters, :D trust me I have many (grandeur of summer included since it was my first it was a lot of mud mixing ahah) i'll try not to worry as much
