I still find painting mountains difficult, but enjoyable. This is 16"x20" oil on canvas.

It was definitely a struggle today. Toward the beginning, I scrapped the big mountain and started over with it. I wanted it to be less severe. But sometimes you got to go with what the palette knife gives you. Which really didn't hurt a thing! I also left out the 2 pine trees....
Even though it doesn’t always feel great, sometimes the struggle is where we gain the most. You definitely worked through it and created a beautiful piece!
