Double Take

joha59 24 Jul 2025

Here it is! After painting two versions of the winter part, this is my version of the summer part from this episode and as in the winter scene I added some color in the sky and the water and just as Bob I tried to put in some red flowers, hope you will find them, on wallpaper of 29,7 x 21 cm (A4 format).

Stunning! The colors are so vibrant and lovely!

this looks amazing, very well done. I also hope to paint some new pictures soon.

This is lovely Jos, it has my two favourite elements, a great sky and a great foot path. Good to see Double Take on two separate canvasses which is how I would approach it too. Maybe both at the same though, side by side if I can clamp them to my easel, and if have all day to do themπŸ˜‰

Super Arbeit,Jos . πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Thank you for watching and commenting Carolyn (glad you like the colors), Tom (glad to hear from you and looking forward for new 'stuff' from your hand), Helen (when can we expect your version haha?) and Dirk (greetings from NL).

Not sure but its on my list. Your version has made this appealing. I think it would be nice to display them as a pair.

Looking great Jos! ❀️
All the little details you manage to get into the small A4 format is stunning.

I've made a couple of 20x30 cm paintings as well (on canvasboard) and I found them just as challenging as a bigger painting. LOL!

One of my favorite Bob scenes Jos and really well done ✌️

Thank you Helen (nice to read my version made it appealing for you), Titia (for your lovely comment) and Brian (the light in the sky triggered me, didn't realise before this was such a nice scene to paint).

Your mountains are spectacular!

Thank you Bob, glad you like them!
