there is so much to say about this painting, I loved the steps. doing the black gesso then creating the trees with various shades of white and gray gesso. I was so nervous painting this one I was so worried it would become a blue mud puddle. it ended up coming out exactly as I wanted. I changed to the foreground up a bit.
