This is my first painting in years- just got back into it. I didn’t follow the episode, just put the finished painting up on my ipad as a reference image.
I did not use wet on wet technique for this one- I did layers using a hairdryer to dry between layers.

Lovely! What a great way to get back into painting! Is there a reason you chose this method? How did the blending go?
I didn’t really think too hard about the choice of technique to be honest. But I think it’s just because it’s a little easier for me, and I like the style that comes from it- high contrast and almost cartoony as opposed to well blended and realistic. I’ll definitely have to try wet on wet next time though. Thank you all for your nice words
