The more landscapes I paint, the weirder they get. I was glad this one has a few very distant mountains; those are something I always enjoy painting.

I didn't recognize the original in this version but I like the light contrasts in the mountains and the sky!
Looks like a scene from LOTR. Tremendous interpretation.

Dramatic stuff, with the contrasting colors in the mid-ground, the sky, and the depth. Very nice!
