Wilderness Day

Jin7 30 Sep 2025

I've fixed the previous version and re-uploaded it. I recall someone once asking how to fix a work that had been completed a long time ago. I think it varies by country, but I imagine there are similar oils.I believe it's sold under the name “retoucher” in English. I believe it's sold under the name “retoucher.”
With oil paintings, after a long period of time,
even if you try to repaint over the paint, it won't adhere well. In such cases, applying this to the area you wish to correct allows you to easily layer paint over it. Also, if the painting's surface is dirty, you can first remove the dirt with turpentine, then apply the retoucher.

Thank you Dirk, Hope my words are helpful!

Every tip helps, Jin. Unfortunately, I only come sporadically to paint. At the moment there is a little more time 👍🏼🇩🇪

Well, I sure wish I would’ve known this last week when I painted it over my entire canvas because I couldn’t stand to look at the painting! But I know now thanks to you. Beautiful painting.

I love your trees!
