I always love to paint the ocean and waves. When I began to paint the two bluish water lines closest to the shore, it really was a "trust the process" moment. It wasn't until I added the second, closest baby wave that the wet sand illusion started to work. This was a fun one to paint - it took me about 5-6 hrs.
