Probably one of the most colorful scenes Bob did. While he did not use liquid clear I used a bit of linseed oil for setting up the background colors, but carefully wiped it off again, I don't like a dry underground, but also not too wet. My attempt was on a piece of thick blanc wallpaper of 29,7 x 21 cm (and not 18x13 cm as mentioned earlier) (A4 format), very easy to frame, if I am satisfied with it.
Wow it is very good, you should be proud. How did you manage it on such a small format (for me the bigger the format is the easier it is), which brushes did you use? I only use Bob Ross (which designed for bigger formats). The little turned out really good (which knife did you use).
Love your painting!
Beautiful.
Really beautiful!
Thank you for your comments Rob, Roko, Stephanie and Colin
@Roko: it is a small painting, but not as small as mentioned earlier: it is 29,7x21 cm, attached a picture of the brushes and knifes used. From left to right: spalter (linseed oil and undercolor), fan brush (evergreens), 2 kind of filbert brushes for the bushes and highlights, 2 blender brushes, flat brush for reflections and two knifes: first one for the cabin, Bob's one for the waterlines.
Thank you Sandy!
Absolutely beautiful!
