Two mountain landscapes I did during week 3 of the Bob Ross Certification.
These are not the "standard" snowcapped mountains that Bob usually painted.
1.
Meadow Lake

With this one we had to fill the entire bottom section with "push-up" bushes. Once that was done we took the 2-inch brush and pulled the paint down to create the little lake.
Talk about a bravery test!!!
2.
Grey Mountain
No idea which episode of The Joy of Painting this is. Does anyone know?
Our instructor called it Grey Mountain, but he did not know the episode anymore either. He sort of pulled this one out of his sleeve and hadn't planned on doing it.

The larger evergreens on the right and parts of the foreground grassy banks were done with the paint knife.

It is indeed totally different from what we did.
(Grey is British English spelling btw. But you are right about the painting title using the US spelling gray.)
