18x24 Oil on Canvas Board. I Love the version Ross painted for the book, which is nicer than the video. I am slowly working my way thru the New Joy Of Painting including the hard stuff! I did try to paint a nicer cabin with stone chimney because a nice view needs a nice cabin. I think where I went wrong - darker colors in foreground. Cabin should be smaller, positioned at top of ridge, and porch would face the view, so should be back view. I'll leave this one alone, but if I paint it again will definitely pay more attention to value and composition. For a Bob Ross, this is a "difficult" painting.

Gorgeous! Love the little cabin and fireplace. This is definitely a more challenging one.
