Enchanted Falls Oval

11x14 Oil on Canvas board. If you can get past the prep work for the oval and the black gesso, this painting is on the easier side. The textured sponge work is optional IMO, but it does add some interest / depth. This painting only uses a handful of colors, has no mountains. It would be good for beginners. A person just has to be a tiny bit brave with the brush work on the leaves. I did get a somewhat carried away putting some mist in. And lastly, after it dries, I'll touch up the smudges around the edges with some white gesso.
