While doing this painting for the second time, I was wondering why we almost paint with liquid white, if with the clear (in my case: linseed oil) the colors are so much brighter. By (happy) accident I dropped the liner brush with some dark paint just beside the mountain and left a dark spot in the sky. I decided to use this for painting a bare tree, On wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm this time, as said, only oil on the white primed paper
You did a beautiful job!
Thank you Sandy and Stephanie for your comment!
Looking great!
Yeah, using liquid clear or oil as a base, instead of liquid white, helps to keep colours more vivid.
Thank you very much Titia!
