Reflections

Apparently painting mountains and trees upside down is hard. I don't think this is a terrible painting but I feel like it has some room for improvement. Too much blue sky, too little mountain, too smudgy on the reflections. Some things I really like were my tree trunks and the sticks on the one. The trunks with the new two-colors on one one-inch brush technique went on so smooth and look better than I expected. I also like the swooped bit of shoreline on the right foreground.

I love your reflections on the right side!

I think the proportion of sky makes the mountain seem really far away. I actually like the sharper focus of the mountain and soft focus in the foreground.
