Decided to put my new painting skills to use in my sign for the Climate Strike! Bob's work was so grounded in his love for our beautiful planet; I think he would have been sad to learn of the catastrophic decline in bird and animal populations and the disappearance of the glaciers and trees he loved to paint. His work inspires me to do more to try to convince our leaders to take action on climate change, so perhaps it will inspire others too! I hung it up on my fence after the march.

But I have to agree with you. The actions of a single person have very little consequence on climate change as a whole.
Which is why it is important to have people like anewday take the streets to get politicians to act on a national and international scale. If enough countries do that the "real polluters" like China and India might follow.
Using a paper straw instead of plastic might not save the planet. But it is a first step to global change.
If you want I would be happy to provide scientific sources about the effect and sources of climate change, and how much difference we can really make with our actions.
Until then I would advise you to take a long look in the mirror and think about what made you attack a person on an online forum for trying to make the world a better place.
