A black gessoed peace of wallpaper was waiting for me so I tried this beautiful scene again, not in an oval this time (like I did some days ago on wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm, see second picture). In my previous attempt I did not like the foreground tree, so I was alert to put it a bit in front of the birch trees to get some more depth. To let the lightest part more shine I did a part of the underlayer with indian yellow. I think I like to do the distant trees more with the upward stroke, as Bob was starting these, but soon he switched to tapping downward. As already written, I did it on wallpaper, format 29,7 x 21 cm (A4 format).
