I love to start on an acrylic basis, this helps me to set up the scene. I love to put the background colors, and the shine of the sun. More difficult: the trees. But I'm quite satisfied with this one. I wanted to stop when I put the colors on, they are so beautiful! I guess next time I'll do a similar one without snow. Filbert Brush is difficult for me.

I agree with Voy (although I don't understand French LOL) but this is a beautiful painting: the broken trunc, the light coming through, the shadows ... all done very well and it makes me want to try this one again!

This is lovely Myriam! The rugged trees contrasting with the glowing sky. I really like the shadows and shifting color reflections off the snow. Well done!

Wonderful painting Myriam! The trees are outstanding. I didn’t realize that Bob practically did the whole painting with the filbert brush. You did such a great job with it. I love how you have streaks of sun light coming thru the trees and the shadows on the snow. Beautiful!
