This was painting number 23 for me and my first seascape. I had been putting off trying one for months due to lack of courage, I think. In the end, it wasn't as difficult as I had predicted. I think this came out okay particularly considering it was the first time I tried painting that big intimidating crashing wave. This was painted on a 16x20 canvas.

This turned out great. I've also been avoiding seascapes for the same reason; looks like I may have to reconsider! The ocean swell behind the breakers looks very realistic and powerful. Good job!
