Beautiful trees and a perfect sense of distance. What brushes did you use? Really well done!
I was looking at the bush and was wondering I never got this type of the shape with any of my brushes. Lovely scene you selected to paint! These stones make it quite different. I like the contrast between dark and light colors on the trees. This is what I have to work at, as I am mud mixer most of the time with the trees.
Is it filbert brush you used on the red tree? Natural bristles or synthetic?
What size of the brush?
What size of the canvas?
With this painting I used the same tools as Bob did on the episode, on a 16x20 canvas. Filbert to get the dark color on the foreground tree, knife to highlight and shadow.
