I used gesso for the first time in my life. I really enjoyed the dark colors in combination with the white. The cabin I left out, too difficult, I was afraid to distroy the painting

The cabin was scary to do! I love the bushes, I couldn’t get mine to do that coral-esque shape as you have. Would the snow edges of the lake work better if you’d done something more minimal? In any case the palette knife work for the mountains is awesome.
