I found this composition to be deceptively complex. It's been several months since I had see the episode and I had forgotten how many layers there are on the right side. If I had it to do again, I think I would have positioned the elements a little differently to make it read more clearly.

Another fantastic painting. When scrolling through the new paintings on the site, I can immediately point out yours. You have a distinct style, reminiscent of old Dutch landscape style, perhaps? I'll admit, I don't know much about art. I have a black 16x20 canvas waiting for me today, but I don't know what to paint. This is motivating me to try something!

Instead of different positioning you could have had the foreground tree trunk a bit darker so it would have stood out more from the background.
Excellent. I really love your highlights anyhow you have grassy/land areas spilling over into the water. Nicely done.
Beautiful landscape - the entire scene, but especially the sky and the delicate edges of the trees. The foliage on the bushes and trees looks wonderful -- so realistic. How do you do it? My deciduous trees look blobby.
