I really enjoyed this episode when I watched it. I think the original painting looks very cool. I definitely hesitated painting leaves on the trees, but in the end, I figured it is best to take the risks and paint things that I might otherwise avoid. Unfortunately, this one was a little challenging to photograph.

Wonderful painting! I like subtlety of the path and bushes in the dark. Bark texture is amazing. I think it was a good decision to add the leaves. It gives the feel of the forest and sequoias trees.

Beautiful work as always. Slightly eerie feel with the cloudy background, but feels like I'm walking through the forest.
