Mt. McKinley

Stellaah 07 Feb 2020

This is my second painting done in acrylic paints that were bought for me many years ago and I’ve been too lacking in confidence to put paint to canvas - until Bindi Irwin mentioned Bob Ross and I googled him and was completely inspired! Thanks to my daughter for buying me the paints and canvases and easel all those years ago, thanks to Bindi Irwin for mentioning Bob, thanks to whoever put the videos up on YouTube and thanks to Bob Ross. I wish I could have met him.

I believe about all of us wanted to have met him! That sky is pretty wild and rough and realy demands to be looked at! Love that cornered mountain, it adds to the roughness of the whole. Great!

The softly-lit, rugged, angular mountain is really quite captivating. Nice work!

Thanks so much for your kind comments!

Your trees are lovely and I especially like the deep crevasse in this mountain.

Thank you!
