I like the trees in the background , in the foreground I am not so happy with the bushes, but overall I had some nice painting hours today😁

Trees in the midground are amazing! I like the shape of the shore and how trees decrease in size to create depth in the painting. The eye travels along that curvature of the trees line from front into the painting.
Water is certainly live and has motion.
I prefer this to the original in so many ways. I too love the shape of the shoreline and the use of colours on the water is just lovely. I always like to see a little of the background showing through the trees. My kind of painting!
