Scenic Seclusion

BrookeBowling 22 Mar 2020

I started this one from a picture of Bob’s paintings in a book with quotes. I looked it up here and found Scenic Seclusion and thought that this was it. The last part on the right turned out different from the book. I also painted two at the same time as an experiment because I often think I’ll do a painting again and change things based on things I thought I could do better. While I was able to do that, it was exhausting, so I won’t do two at a time again. Bushes are still a challenge. I made a rocky edge on the right instead. My husband joked that I was doing a “Spot the Difference” challenge. #1

Hard to make a choice but this one has that little bit more by its shadowing effect. I'm very wild about those trees on the right!!

The mountain is closer in this one, trees I would say more elegant, they behave nicely and dont spread their arms too far.
Which one do you like more yourself?
