Autumn Glory

Madame Mouton 22 Mar 2020

My second attempt to paint this one. This is much better than my first I think!

I agree, I specially love that swinging grass! And you created great depth as well with those trees!

I think those trees in the distance are gorgeous! Water has very good reflections!

Square size is quite difficult to handle I can't get to the tricks about compositions yet, something is always slightly off when I re-compose the painting for square size.
What's your thoughts about the square canvas?

Thanks for your nice words. Sunnylady when I use a square size, like in this painting I just add more blue sky and more grass in the foreground. I am not trying to re-compose. Maybe I should?

Madame Mouton, I just had the same thought about adding more sky in the square canvas. This is what I call re-composing :) as I adjust initial composition moving things like sky and moving everything in some direction.
Thanks for sharing about square canvas!
