Second time painting with oils! I put on much less of the liquid white than I did on my first go, and it worked a lot better. I'm still struggling a bit with how to get the highlight colors as vivid as Bob's... towards the end (that is, the bottom) I started adding in a little more liquid white to my mix, and that seemed to work well.

I don't know, your colors look quite vivid to me! That is what makes this one stand out to me, actually. Lovely painting.
