Winter Barn

Any1CanDoIt 17 Apr 2020

This is my second painting, the trouble I had with this was using white it really picks up all the other colours so I found I had to do a bit of extra blending leaving mucky colour's.
Also I didn't have a decent liner brush so couldn't do any fine details on the tree's.
I had to add a pond as there would've been a massive white space.
I'm really happy with the sky and using a proper scraper on the building getting really good effects.

You're on your way! And yes, it is worth investing in a GOOD liner brush. Bob's is a nr. 2 and works well on his canvas '18x24) but if you paint on smaller canvasses, I can advice you to give for a smaller one. Myself, I use only nrs. 0 and 1.
Till next ones!

Hi thank you for your comments. I have actually moved onto 16"x20". My next painting I'm uploading will explain why.
