Golden Rays of Sunshine

In My world I can bend light!!
My third painting. This one was a bit of a challenge despite Bob making it look easy.
In the episode he actually brings out one he done earlier which has a different background.
To begin with I didn't have a path and it looked like a load of leavy bricks using a sponge, in the end I used sponges and brushes to get some sort of flowers/bushes.
I also scraped of the white a couple of times due to using to much or it blending to much and as you can see getting the light straight is a real pain.
I think this one takes a bit of practice.
I do love the leaf effect using a paper towel.

Ah yes, wise decision to switch to 16x20, this painting demands a big canvas. The white light is indeed a bit challenging since it is opaque and that clearly shows over any gesso's. Your scriptlining work is well done, as is the autumn colouring!!

Hi Voy kay
Thank you again, I've showed my other half your first comment to me I think I've managed to pursued her to create an account so she will upload her paintings.
I've got all my five paintings up now.
Thank you again for your kind comments
