Snow Fall

Not exactly like Ross’s but this one, love the limited palette, needed some practice on mountain snow breakage

Seems like the practice payed off!

Thank you! Plagued by dissatisfaction keeps ya determined!

I second the importance of that creeping, underlying feeling of dissatisfaction as a driving force. I have a general rule I try to abide by with my paintings. I like using it as a distress tolerance technique to just relax and have a good time, but I also like to push myself and try more challenging paintings to continually grow as a painter. A healthy mix of both has been really important for me. This is a really nice painting. There's something about the limited palette that I find quite striking. I also particularly like those silver streaks in the sky.

I like this painting. You did a really nice job on the river and the banks.

Wow, good job on the mist, reflection and evergreen trees.
