I painted this 3 years ago, I had only been painting in oils for a few weeks and still found it very difficult to get the paint onto the canvas rather than me. I hope my enthusiasm shines through though!

The lighting in the grass is really wonderful. You were off to a good start, even at this point, just a few weeks in!
