I’ve really been working at the waves and rocks, but still get a bit frustrated. Any advice on how the rocks might be different than mountains?

Unfortunately I also struggle with rocks so I can’t really help you there. Getting the angles and shading so that it looks natural is tricky - mine just look like blobs. You absolutely nailed the sky and ocean though. It’s stunning!
