This was my second painting this week and I feel much happier with it. I took my time more and I think my evergreens turned out better.... more paint on the brush and a few practice branches on the pallet first gave me the confidence for my bravery test! I loved painting the sky on this one and by sweeping the snow in different directions as you move forward, really helps to create great depth. I found the cabin very hard, it was the first time I have attempted one and went back at the end and tweaked it with the help of my liner brush. Much happier after blending it down.

Great painting. Yellow and peach-orange in the sky are amazing. Great that they translate to the snow to some degree too.
