I’m still having problems putting leaves on the nearest trees. When this picture is dry I’m going to add a lighter layer of leaves, hopefully that will add definition.

I more than understand the frustration of paint not laying on in the manner I would like but I think the difference in your trees gives your rendition of Bubbling Stream a wonderful uniqueness. Your large trees in the foreground give this scene a whole different feeling than the way they look in Bob's version. I like it very much.
