Was a fun painting. I started with the foreground but thinking I should have done the background trees first.

That sun and the cloud encroaching on it, really gorgeous effect.
I have also painted foreground then back, you will likely find that (as I have), working from the back forwards is much easier for creating depth and character.
Are you using oils for this? You have some great colours going on in here.

Hi Acoustic!....Welcome to Two inch brush, The glow from your sun is lovely... i would recommend always starting with your sky and the most distant objects first working forward in your painting all the time, it's the technique taught by Bob and will work for you...good job!
