took some liberties and did my own rendition. Really had a good time doing this one.

me too, reminds me of a spot at LBI in NJ that we visit once a year.
Was it difficult to paint? This painting on my to-paint list but I'd really like to do something not too complicated next time....

I like it that your foreground isn't so dark. How did you paint it?
not sure of the question you mean the dune area?
Yes the dunes
two inch brush with white, then a hint of light blue here and there, then did the reeds and then pulled down the dark brown base very lightly with a fan brush
