I think you captured the mood just great! The nature in the storm!
Seascapes are all about perspective. Give it a bit of reading and practicing on a paper and you will see how the next seascape will be different. Sketching straight on canvas is very helpful too. Just use very thinned paint for it.

I think you captured the wave really well. I like the shape and the "about to crash" part of the wave. The colors are spot on, as well! Nice!
