1st attempt at an oval. Really like the sepia effect.... pretty pleased with this one.

yes I like the sepia effect as well. Did mine directly on an oval canvas. Pic next to yours. nice work.
Great job, really nice. A word of advice if I may... there are many, many brands of contact paper available, many of which are not worth fooling with for this type of use. Look around a bit, likely at Lowe's or the like and find the actual "Contact" brand. (www.contactbrand.com). It not only solves your bleeding issue it sticks very well, is reasonably priced and the backing is a grid pattern for easier cutting. The result of a ton of research and trial & error. :-)
Very delicate colouring and such detail in everything. This is a gem!!
