This was definitely one of the most enjoyable paintings I've done this far. It's really quite simple, lots of blending of beautiful soft colors. The most difficult were the tall grasses. I was skeptical about the black foreground but in the end I think it makes a nice contrast. Loved painting this. Love the result. Might do it another time and use more paint to get more vibrant colors. What a happily spent two hours😁🎨🖌

MissNyss I'm glad you like my paintings. It's such a nice feeling if someone likes the things we create 😊 If you want to try a seascape this is the one to do, it doesn't have any big waves so it's not so difficult to paint.

You made contrast with the sand which gives depth. The colouring is very real, with a sunrise looking right into the sun gives almost a black foreground to our eyes. You caught that VERY well!
This is considered one of the most favourite creations amongst Bob Ross fans!
