Quiet Pond

LCLeonard 29 Jan 2021

Wooh this was harder than it looked. First, I had a hard time with the background blending together. I used a towel like Kevin Hill, but maybe not long enough. And then the additional bush in front of the background kept muddying in. Finally, the tree was a pain. He had me until we got blue involved, and then it looked dumb.

As a positive, though, I thought the end result was pretty good and I felt more confident to try different brushes and techniques, not following Bob. I didn’t feel as reliant as I normally do.

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

This never looks like an easy creation from Bob. Glad you went your way at times, always fun to do such!
